During this panel hosted by SMP, cybersecurity industry experts will share insights on today's landscape and about the measures organizations can take to protect their information. 

Panelists include Peter Bamber from Security Management Partners and Eric Levine of Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper. More on their backgrounds below.

Peter Bamber, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, vice president of Information Security Consulting Services, Security Management Partners

Peter Bamber has an extensive information security background which includes project management for hundreds of public, private and government firms. At Security Management Partners, Mr. Bamber creates and oversees implementation of and methodologies for all of the Company's service offerings.

Mr. Bamber holds numerous information security vendor and industry certifications and is a member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association, Information Systems Security Association, InfraGard, High Technology Crime Investigation Association and New England Disaster Recovery Information X-Change. Mr. Bamber has a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and Clark University for Information Technology.

Eric Levine, co-chair of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group, Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper

Eric Levine is co-chair of Lindabury’s Cybersecurity and Data Privacy practice and assists businesses in the creation of their internal cyber-breach response team. He advises corporations and their executives on mitigating the impact of cyber-breaches and counsels on the regulatory reporting and client/customer notification responsibilities after breaches occur.  An accomplished litigator with trial experience in both state and federal courts, Eric works with corporations to defend claims brought by plaintiffs affected by cyber-breaches.

In 2006, Eric was included in the New Jersey Law Journal '40 Under 40' list, and in 2007 Eric was included in the NJBIZ list of its ‘40 Under 40’. He was also included in the 2008 - 2010 New Jersey Super Lawyers “Rising Star” list in the area of General Litigation.
