The Security Management Partners’ Security Council is comprised of six industry security leaders whose charter is to advise SMP of real world problems facing IT security decision makers. This objective feedback helps to ensure that SMP is staying ahead of the security challenge curve across the financial, healthcare, bio-pharmaceutical, and corporate sectors.

Lynne M. Burrow

Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the Cambridge Trust Company, a $1.2 billion bank, Lynne M. Burrow has over thirty years of bank management experience. She is responsible for the overall management of bank operations, strategic plan project management, Information Security and the Information Technology, Project Management, Items Processing and Deposit Operations Departments. Ms. Burrow developed the bank’s Information Security Program to ensure the protection of customer and bank information in 2001. In 2004, she became the bank’s Executive sponsor for the Enterprise Risk Management Program; and in 2007, Ms. Burrow created the Incident Response methodology for breach prevention and management. 

Nicole Heim

Information Systems Director for Milford Regional Medical Center, Nicole Heim heads the Information Systems Department and serves as the Hospital’s designated Security Official. Ms. Heim has successfully led multiple IT initiatives including a CPOE implementation, a major upgrade to the IT infrastructure, and implementation of Summit’s Interface Engine for integrating systems within the facility with outside EHRs. Additionally, under Ms. Heim's leadership, the Hospital successfully attested to Meaningful Use Stage 1 in 2011. Ms. Heim is a member of College Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), Massachusetts Technology Collaborative Massachusetts CPOE Initiative and Health Information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS).

Peter Marshall

Vice President of Technology Services, Acushnet Company, a $1.4B company and home of the Titleist®, FootJoy®, and Pinnacle® brands, Peter Marshall oversees the global technology infrastructure, the data and voice networks, information security, data center services, server and storage administration and service desk in Acushnet's 45+ world locations. He is actively modernizing theAcushnet Company core infrastructure through projects that include server virtualization and global network redesign.

Abigail Smith

Director of IT Security & Collaboration Services for Purdue Pharma LP, a privately-held pharmaceutical company in Stamford, CT, Abigail Smith’s responsibilities include IT Security, Record and Content Management, Intranet and Internet strategies, and a focus on safeguarding company assets and limiting exposure to malware and data loss without compromising collaboration with internal or external providers. She oversees on- and off-shore development and manages a team supporting 300 Microsoft Sharepoint sites and 12 websites. 

Larry Walker

Vice President and Data Processing Officer of Chelsea Groton Bank, an independent, full service community bank serving Southeastern Connecticut with 14 locations for over 150 years, Larry Walker has managed IT Systems at the Bank since 1992. He ensures the effectiveness of the Bank’s IT resources which include IT staff, encrypted wide area network, LAN and other hardware/software. Mr. Walker is responsible for the design, configuration and support for all IT systems at the Bank. He manages IT risks and ensures compliance of IT operations.
